Hi Mary,

I thought I would take a moment to thank you for writing such an interesting and inspirational book. I loved it. I took it with me on a camping trip this week, started reading it Tuesday afternoon and finished it Wednesday morning. It is rare that I read a book that quickly, but I really got into Cristians story and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next.
I could really relate to Cristian at the point when he started to understand how life works and wanted to share his new knowledge with those he loved. Boy, I’ve been there. Sometimes it’s hard to temper your enthusiasm, but I don’t want my friends and family to OD on my positive energy. : )
The gratitude stone is a great idea. As I was on a beautiful beach while reading, I assigned my 3 kids the task of finding me 3 very special rocks, which they did. I now have 3 gratitude stones and will always carry at least one with me.
I enjoyed how Cristian and you discuss connections. Like you, I have noticed a lot of them since I started this journey earlier this year. A simple one was being introduced to Face book by a friend, discovering a few personal development groups, volunteering as an “ambassador” which led to meeting you and finding out about your book.
My favorite quote from the book is “Since I realized that I have a true mission, inspired by God, I have been humbled. I’m no longer fighting the circumstances that come my way because, after all, if I’m meant to learn lessons from them then why would I fight them? I look for the lessons and allow my creative imagination to find solutions.”
I wrote that quote down and it provided a lot of reflection for me as I know how I will be able to apply it in my work life.
Anyway, I could go on and on, but my main purpose in this note was to thank Cristian for opening his life to the world and you for so eloquently capturing the story in print. Your book is a welcome addition to my growing library and I will be quick to recommend it.
